Alan and Milissa Dewey are coming back to Hickory Ridge Sunday, July 22nd at 2:00 for discussion, demos, consults and repairs on textile tools.
Anyone can bring textile tools, old or new, for repairs or consults. If repairs are made on site there is no charge. Last year there were several repairs made on site.
Milissa is a great story teller and it wouldn’t take much to coax her into spinning us some yarns. She will also demonstrate on some of the museum’s historical tools.
Even if you don’t have tools to repair, bring your knitting, spinning, weaving…. and enjoy the shade at the musuem with other fiber folks. Throw in a chair if you have room.
