Attend one of our monthly meetings and enjoy a workshop or informative presentation. Please let us know if you have a specific interest in a fiber art or craft and want to learn more. If you are interested in providing instruction in one of the fiber disciplines, contact us.
Classes for Seniors: In collaboration with BRAHM, Western Watauga Senior Center and Lois Harrill Senior Center, weaving and knitting instruction is available free to participants aged 55+. Some offerings are Beginning Knitting with Janeene Ross and Weaving with Susan Sharpe (WWCC) or Pam Kicklighter (LE Harrill).
Watauga Arts Council hosts Knitting Workshop with Vicki Skywark during May-October. Vicki will guide intermediate students through specialized techniques and common issues such as tension and ergonomics, mistake repair, yarn characteristics, seams and much more in a warm and friendly small group environment.
